Small Homeowner Remodels

If you're doing your own remodel, the plumbing is usually the one trade you don't want to DIY — and most contractors won't touch a homeowner-paced project because it ties up their crew. We will. We come in when you're ready for plumbing, leave when that phase is done, and come back for the next stage when you call.

Licensed, Bonded & Insured
Upfront, Written Quotes
No Money Down on Big Jobs
Master Plumber On Every Call

Permits pulled, inspections scheduled, written quotes on each phase. No pressure on your timeline.

How the phased model works

You frame and demo on your schedule. When you're ready for rough plumbing, we come in for a day or two, install the DWV and supply, leave it pressure-tested and ready for inspection. You move on to electrical, insulation, drywall, tile. When you're ready for trim — fixtures, faucets, toilets — we come back. Each phase is quoted and invoiced separately.

What we handle

Kitchen and bath rough-in, new fixture additions (powder rooms, basement baths, in-law suites), gas line extensions for ranges and dryers, water heater relocations, and any reconfiguration that needs new DWV or supply runs. Permits and inspections included.

What you handle (or don't)

Demo, framing, drywall, tile, paint, electrical — that's your scope or your other subs. We'll happily coordinate with your tile setter and electrician on rough-in dimensions so nothing has to be re-done.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge a trip fee for each phase?

Standard service-call minimum applies per visit, but we discount when phases are scheduled in advance so we can route work efficiently. We tell you the number before each phase.

Will my project pass inspection?

Every plumbing phase we do is permitted (where required) and stands for inspection. If the inspector flags something, we correct it at our cost — your work passes.

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes. Nava's Elite Plumbing carries a current California master plumber registration, $1M general liability coverage, and workers' comp on every technician. A certificate of insurance naming you or your property manager is available on request before we start.

Do you give upfront pricing?

Every job is quoted in writing before any work begins. We price by scope, not by the hour, so the number you approve is the number you pay — barring scope changes you approve in writing.

Do you require money down?

No deposit on standard service calls. On larger projects (repipes, sewer replacements, gas line installs) we phase work into progress payments tied to city inspection milestones — you never pay ahead of completed work.
